On May 14, 2024 we lost a friend and neighbour with the passing of Nigel(Barry) Lucking. Barry was a generous donor and volunteer with the Port Joli Community Association for many years. Barry generously sat on our board for years, designed and hosted our web page, among other things. He is greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.

As a result of losing Barry from our board, two new members were elected at our 2024 AGM. We welcomed Tara Smith as our new Vice Chair and Barry’s wife, Kathy as a director. Rounding out the board members re-elected were Sky Curtis, director; Charles Robertson, director; Danielle Robertson, treasurer; Donna Denison, secretary and Ada Frank, Chair.
