We held the official opening on Saturday August 23rd
Between 40 to 50 people enjoyed viewing the wonderful renovations, the hospitality and chatting with friends and neighbours
Many thanks to all who attended the opening celebration of this important historic building.
A special thanks to Ada Frank who’s dream it was to restore the old schoolhouse, and who managed to convince Danielle Robertson to look after the daunting task of fund raising, supervising the restoration process,as well as the overall day to day management.
The Port Joli community now has a splendid venue for all sorts of get-togethers and events.
There are plans in the works for an interpretative centerpiece up-stairs.
